  1. Place the Door Header onto a Flat Work Surface as Shown. Using a 1/2in Socket, Remove the 3 Nuts holding on the Bearing Plate.
    • Place the Door Header onto a Flat Work Surface as Shown.

    • Using a 1/2in Socket, Remove the 3 Nuts holding on the Bearing Plate.

    • Remove the Washers and Lock Washers underneath each Nut.

    • Repeat on the opposite side of the Header.

    • Once you Remove the Bearing Plates, the Roll Tube will be able to move freely, so take care to not Pinch/Crush Fingers or Hands.

    • Having someone to support the Roll Tube on each Side will help tremendously.

  2. With the Bearing Plates Removes, you will be able to Pull the Shaft Assemblies out of the Roll Tube. Swap the Shafts. When sliding the Shaft Assemblies into the respective ends, ensure that the Heads of the Screws on the Outer Hubs are fully seated against the Roll Tube.
    • With the Bearing Plates Removes, you will be able to Pull the Shaft Assemblies out of the Roll Tube.

    • Swap the Shafts.

    • When sliding the Shaft Assemblies into the respective ends, ensure that the Heads of the Screws on the Outer Hubs are fully seated against the Roll Tube.

    • Replace the Bearing Plates.

    • Replace the Washers, Lock Washers, and Nuts to Secure the Bearing Plate to the Header.
